A logo for the International Thematic Network (ITN) 'Sustainability education – Teaching and learning in the face of wicked socio-ecological problems'.
Graphic design & illustrations for a recipe book for/by university students - a cooperation between Dagen Zonder Vlees, KULeuven, Ghent University, UHasselt, UAntwerpen, VUB and Isberg Design Company. 36 pages, printed in 4500 copies, distributed at all aforementioned universities.

The Green Guide has been published by the Green Office of Ghent University. Isberg Design Company took care of the design of its 52 pages, created all illustrations and provided a substantial part of the photographs (mainly for chapters 1 and 4).

'Haiku' can be seen at the botanical garden of Ghent University (Ledeganckstraat) from November 23 until December 3, 2015. It has been created especially for Tipping Point as part of the climate route throughout the city of Ghent. UPDATE: The viewing dates of this work have been prolonged indefinitely.

After finding this branch in the park one autumn day, I replaced its leafs with paper cutouts in the original shapes, using a few pages from a play of Molière (sorry Molière).
During autumn I collected the fallen leafs from my small two year old Ginkgo tree. I dried them in books. Their various shapes and sizes proved to be the perfect canvas for bird drawings. A book about many birds and one particular tree.
This project emerged from my respect for nature - its beauty, balance and complexity - and the joy found in drawing, in capturing the world not how it is but how it is perceived.
